Joe has done electrical work for us in five different homes. His work is meticulous and thorough. His prices are good. Would not use anyone else to do electrical work. It is always done right, and promptly. He often has great ideas that I would not have thought of. His great work ethic makes me a repeat customer..

Finding qualified electricians seems a monumental task. So I am thrilled that my decking contractor recommended Great Lakes and Joe to re-do, repair and upgrade some outdoor lighting and outlets for both my deck and goldfish pond. Joe is Master Certified and Licensed in Amherst. And I see why! Not only was the work seriously superior, but his recommendations made a good plan even better. Highly, highly recommend him. And a huge bonus these days, his timeliness and communication skills are equal to his electrical abilities, and that's saying a lot.

Joe answered a night time call that involved a sparking electrical outlet. He arrived within 20 mins and quickly assessed the the problem and took care of it. The owner of Great Lakes electrical is one of the best! I’m a HVAC technician and work with electricians all the time. So I know high quality work when I see it. I’m having a new pool installation and found out my service was not enough amps. Great Lakes electric came in on time and completed on time! One thing that I found particularly helpful was that Joe worked with me when I was out of town. I bought a place that needed work done upstate, but I knew I wouldn’t be able to leave New York City ahead of time. Joe was able to get all the work done for me despite the distance. I don’t know of many places with that sort of service.

Joe did a fantastic job with wiring up my pool this summer! I’m so happy that Joe was able to help get me all set for the brutal heat in a timely manner. The pool has been working perfectly ever since. He is a very hard worker with honest and reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend using him for future electrical work.
